Slow down, reset and feel more like yourself again.

Step away from the demands of everyday life and experience 2 restorative hours immersed in the ancient woodlands of Richmond Park.
The Wild Pause is a guided forest bathing and mindfulness experience, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-yoku and rooted in research exploring the relationship between nature and human wellbeing.
Designed for busy minds, this small-group experience offers space to slow down, restore attention and reconnect with yourself and the natural world.
What to expect:

Across a gently paced woodland journey of approximately 1 km, you'll be guided through:
- Mindful breathing and grounding to help you arrive in the present moment.

- Sensory invitations that encourage you to explore nature through sound, scent, texture and movement.

- Moments of stillness and reflection, with space to simply be.

- Guided Eco-Nidra and gentle sound healing, inviting the body and mind into deeper rest.

- A woodland tea ceremony, offering time to reflect and connect before returning to your day.

Why forest bathing?

Research suggests that spending mindful time in natural environments can help reduce stress, support emotional wellbeing and restore attention.
Unlike a regular walk, forest bathing isn't about exercise, distance or reaching a destination. It's about slowing down enough to experience your surroundings differently.
No previous experience of meditation or forest bathing is needed. Everything is invitational, with no pressure to share or participate in a particular way.
Your guide

The experience is led by Linda Prigarska, founder of The Wild Pause, a certified Forest Bathing+ Guide and International Shinrin-Yoku Instructor trained in Japan.
Drawing on nearly two decades in the corporate world and three years of guiding more than 500 participants, Linda combines research-informed practices with a gentle, intuitive approach to nature connection.

What to bring:

Comfortable enclosed footwear, warm layers, waterproof clothing if needed, and a mat for sitting or lying down.
The experience takes place on natural woodland paths and in most weather conditions. No swimming or water immersion is involved.
Come as you are. There is nothing to achieve and no particular way you need to feel.
